Milagro/Legends
The planet Milagro lay at the confluence of two important hyperroutes, the Corellian Run and the Harrin Trade Corridor.
Description
Milagro was located in the Circarpous sector of the Expansion Region,[1] at the intersection of Nanth'ri Route and the Ootmian Pabol.[2] It was a prosperous trade and manufacturing world. Milagro was ruled by its own noble houses, descendants of the first settlers of the planet.[3]
History
Milagro was discovered during the Galactic Republic Expansionist Era, that lasted from 25,000 BBY to 20,000 BBY.[2] The planet was settled by Corellian colonists.[3]
During the Clone Wars, the R3 astromech droid known as R3-S6 was stolen from the Republic by agents of General Grievous and was reprogrammed at a Republic base on Milagro to spy for the Confederacy.
During the Imperial Period, the Galactic Empire maintained a large Clone Wars-era military base on the planet.[3]
In 5 ABY, during the Galactic Civil War, the surface of Milagro was bombarded to slag by the Empire, opting for a Base Delta Zero operation rather than allowing the resources of the planet to fall into the hands of the New Republic.[5] Mon Mothma later briefly set up headquarters in the New Hope in orbit of the planet. The New Hope was attacked by the Empire.[4][5] For his heroism in the ensuing battle, Luke Skywalker was promoted to General.[5]
The Milagro system was conquered by the extra-galactic invaders during the Yuuzhan Vong War.[2]
