Micro-scanners or microsensors were miniature sensors. The Holographic Projector Doubler Suit used thousands of them to relay movement data from the suit to the holoprojector's computer brain.[1] Micro-scanners could be used to verify navigation chart tapes. Han Solo and Crimson Jack both carried them to their duel in space.[2]
