Messert Mines Corporation

Messert Mines Corporation was a mining company that mined heavy deposits of Corthel in the air and Cortheum in the ground on the planet Nurstin during the waning century of the Galactic Republic and rise of the Galactic Empire. They were also one of the primary mining companies operating on the planet Essowyn. They brokered mining rights to the Thergum Pits with the nation of Tresycht, and helped them to first subjugate the nation of Yiszte with equipment and security forces, allowing them to take control of the entire planet inside four years.
