Message drone
Message drones were small automated droid ships used to relay confidential messages across interstellar distances in the days prior to the invention of the HoloNet. The Cha'a message pod and the Elegance message drone were two known types with the latter being used in the days of the Old Republic, and to some extent, the Galactic Empire.
