The mer-9 Protocol Droid was a model of espionage droid created by MerenData that resembled a protocol droid. It stood 1.7 meters tall, and was equipped with a vocabulator, broadband antenna, AA-1 VerboBrain, and TranLang III communications module. It was also fitted with an information recording and code-keyed retrieval/broadcast system to record and relay intelligence.[1] Mer-9 was a mer-9 Protocol Droid working for Bren-Aarica Rordan on the planet Kirima.[2]
