Meiloorun
The meiloorun was a type of food with a rind, which split when overripe.[1]
Behind the scenes
A meiloorun was briefly mentioned in the Star Wars Legends 1996 novel X-Wing: Wedge's Gamble, written by Michael A. Stackpole.[1] A meiloorun later appeared in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode "Bounty", though it was not identified as such in a Star Wars Legends source.[2] The Star Wars canon continuity later established that the depicted fruit was a meiloorun in "Fighter Flight", the fourth episode of the animated series Star Wars Rebels.[3]
