History
It was commanded by Darth Vader while he was searching for Rebel operatives and Habassan Envoy.
Behind the scenes
In the game Star Wars: X-Wing, the Maximum arrives on Tour of Duty 5 Mission 12 if Red Squadron's B-Wings have been disabled. It also turns up on Mission 20A of Tour of Duty 5 if Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Cathleen gets destroyed.
