Maintenance pod
Maintenance pods were small starships employed as repair vehicles. Three meters long, the pods possessed a 150 meter long tether cord that anchored them to a hangar bay. Maintenance pods held three hours worth of air and maneuvered by employing small rocket engines. The pods were equipped with a small tractor beam, magnetic projectors, and two small manipulator arms. The New Republic CR90 corvette FarStar carried two maintenance pods.
