The MDF motivator was a model of motivator^[1] meant to be installed in torture droids.^[2] MerenData used them in the production of illegal droids for the House of Tagge,^[1] and accidentally installed one into the EV-series supervisor droid, granting it sadistic tendencies and forcing the company to recall the line.
