Lume rock

Lume rocks were very unusual rocks that gave off heat and light, but that did not burn enough to scold an individual's hand.

B'omarr Monks used them to line pathways for their young to walk over, giving them the confidence that they could walk over a bed of hot colds. Though deceptive, this technique helped filter out monks and gave those that succeeded a much greater sense of accomplishment.
