Lawn louse

Lawn lice (s. lawn louse) were insects found on the planet Uaua. They made a whimpering noise when disturbed. The native sentient species of the world, the Quor'sav, domesticated lawn lice to tend the magenta grass of the lawns around their homes. A well-tended lawn might host thousands of such insects.

Behind the scenes

Lando Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon only uses the term lawn lice in the plural. As the English singular for lice is louse, this article uses that spelling.
