Lapis or lapiz was a blue gemstone found in major quantities across the galaxy as flat plates or sheets. It was used for art and in the creation of flat surfaces, particularly tabletops.

Lapis from the Mandalorian world of Draboon was used to furnish the Coronet, the personal starship of the New Mandalorian duchess, Satine Kryze.^[1]
