Landing Beacon

The Landing Beacon was a portable beacon designed for Alliance Special Forces. The beacon would transmit tight-beam comm, infrared or ultraviolet signals to mark out landing zones for supply or troop drops. These beacons were standard equipment for Pathfinders.[1]
