L2 Base Labor Droids were labor droids designed by Industrial Automaton. L2 units were able to perform tasks with up to 100 separate steps. An L2 was equipped with two heavy grasper arms, one retractable fine work grasper arm, two tractor feet, a small circular saw, and auditory and visual recorders. L2 units were used by the Galactic Empire to maintain the prison complexes of Balis-Baurgh. Hardin owned a modified L2.
