Klaggus Purgato

Klaggus Purgato was a male individual who was rumored to have been one of the main design techs of the IG-series combat prototype.[1] According to TriNebulon News reporter Andor Javin,[2] he survived the Holowan Massacre and went into hiding, believing that the IGs were intentionally programmed to kill their designers by an outside agency, most likely the Galactic Empire. However, an individual known as Pog was skeptical of Javin's claims and pointed out that it was never proven that Purgato was alive or even a Holowan Mechanicals designer.[1]

Klaggus Purgato was first mentioned in Cynabar's Fantastic Technology: Droids, a 1997 Star Wars Legends sourcebook cowritten by Drew Campbell and Eric S. Trautmann for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[1]
