Lady Kalena was a noblewoman of House Indupar. During the Galactic Civil War, Kalena was traveling aboard the corvette Indupar Nova when the ship was attacked by the Rebel privateer vessel Free Lance in the Ec Pand system. The privateers boarded the corvette and Kalena switched places with her lady-in-waiting, Missa, in an attempt to deceive the pirates. However, the leader of the privateers, Captain Urias Xhaxin, saw through the ruse, and he ordered Kalena and Missa to be held in comfort aboard the Free Lance.
