Kadok III
Kadok III was a star located in the Tertiary Kadok system,[2] a part of the Kadok Regions in Wild Space.[1] It was orbited by five planets.[2]
The innermost, Kadok III-A, was a searing-hot rock world with eight moons of its own. The second orbit was occupied by another searing rock planet, Kadok III-B, which had fifteen natural satellites. Kadok III-C, a barren rock planet with a single moon, occupied the third orbital position around its star.[2]
Further out, Kadok III-D, commonly known as Guiteica, was a temperate terrestrial world with mountains, glaciers, forests, and huge waterfalls on its surface. It was the homeworld of the j'kuutak[2] and roggwart creatures[4] as well as the sentient Bitthævrian species. The outermost orbit around Kadok III was occupied by the gas giant–type planet Kadok III-E and its seventy-five moons.[2]
Behind the scenes
Kadok III was mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Tertiary Kadok system, and therefore Kadok III, in grid square J-4.[3]
