Jawa beer was an alcoholic beer brewed by Jawas on Tatooine.
Description
Jawa beer was considered a rough travel beer, brewed from fermented grains and bantha hide. The beer had a brownish colored hue.[1]
It was served in cantinas on Tatooine, and was also imported to other worlds across the galaxy.[1]
Behind the scenes
Jawa beer appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. In the game, Jawa beer could be purchased from bartenders in cantinas around the galaxy. It should be noted that the same graphical model for Jawa beer was used for other items in the game, such as fruit fizz.[1]
