Iphigin
Iphigin was a planet in the Iphigin system of the Core Worlds and the homeworld of the Iphigini species.
Description
Iphigin was a bluish-red planet in the Core Worlds, in a sector inhabited by the Diamala bordering the Ishori Confederene. It was the home planet of the Iphigini species. It was one of the most important New Republic tradeworlds, serving its own and two neighboring sectors. It was protected by a Golan I platform. The Iphigin Spaceport Directorate guided all spacecraft approaching and leaving the planet.[2]

In 19 ABY, Iphigin was the site of a conference organized by Chief of State Ponc Gavrisom to solve an Ishori–Diamal dispute. They were unable to do so, even with the help of Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Luke Skywalker, and the dispute soon became part of the greater Caamas Document Crisis.[2]
Solo, Chewbacca, and Skywalker also helped to defend the planet when it was attacked by the Cavrilhu Pirates.[2]
