Imperial Mining, Ltd. was a mining company located on the planet Derilyn. Owned and operated by the Galactic Empire, it was responsible for mining the planets of the Elrood sector in order to provide raw materials for Imperial weapons makers. A large mine which employed one thousand miners and several thousand mining droids was set on Berea which was an important source world of ore for IML. However, the company found limited success due to the competition from the much larger Radell Mining Corporation.
