Ignition chambers were components used in engines. Jetpacks had ignition chambers where an intake mechanism pulled in the surrounding atmosphere and mixed it with small amounts of fuel to produce thrust. Bespin Motors Methane Sifter Ramjet used a compressed ignition chamber into which gases like methane or ammonia were drawn into and then burned to produce energy to power the vessel's hover vanes.
