Hydrovalve

A hydrovalve was a starship engine component. It regulated the power flow to the engine couplings. Faulty hydrovalves could reduce the flow to the couplings which decreased a ship's sublight speed.

While fixing his ship, the Dorion Discus, after a battle, the smuggler Roark Garnet found a faulty hydrovalve. By fixing the hydrovalve, Garnet increased the sublight speed of his vessel.
