Hull patch
A hull patch,[1] also known as a hull seal patch,[2] was an emergency repair device used to temporarily repair breaches in the outer hull of a starship. Hull patches used a variety of methods for affixing themselves, including adhesive, mechanical, or magnetic seals.[1] Hull patches could also be used aboard aquatic vessels in the event of a hull rupture.[3]
