Household boars or tuskers were Gamorreans who were unmarried and hired into a clan. They formed the bulk of the clan armies, working for a stipend from the matron and whatever plunder they could loot from rival clans. Household boars were not totally loyal to their clan, but successful ones could hope to secure marriage to a sow, possibly even a matron.
