A holoplatform was a device used for advertizment in the Corporate Sector.
History
Holoplatforms measuring 10 or 20 kilometers across orbited selected planets, showcasing commercials all day and night. A commentator boasted that on half of the Sector's planets, one couldn't see the stars due to the sky being covered by such platforms.
