High grav trap
A high grav trap was a defensive emplacement used to protect fortresses. The area was covered by gravity generators strong enough to immobilize an individual or small speeder by pulling them to the ground. The victims of the high grav trap were then easy targets for the fortress's defensive fire.[1]
