Hemostat

Hemostats were devices used by surgeons to stop bleeding from damaged arteries during surgery. By 20 BBY, hemostats were largely outdated by pressor generators That year, the Republic surgeon Jos Vondar was forced to use a hemostat when his pressor generator was disabled at Republic Mobile Surgical Unit 7 during the battle on the planet Drongar during the Clone Wars.
