Heavy attack line
A heavy attack line was a formation of the Imperial Navy commanded by a captain of the line. Attack lines numbered between four and eight starships, none of which were smaller than a light cruiser. Heavy attack lines were expected to engage and defeat enemy forces of similar numbers.
