A heatbeam was a weapon used by the ancient war robots of Xim the despot.
An outdated weapon, a heatbeam was a gauntlet mounted weapon that produced a highly focused and sustained beam of light and heat that burned and melted a target, and though primitive by modern standards, was capable of producing enough heat to cut through light durasteel with ease.
