Hatch was a civilian YT-1300. During the Galactic Civil War it was part of heavy freighter traffic between Navigation buoys B-52 and B-53. The transport was inspected by a single TIE Defender to find equipment inside its cargo. The transport soon jumped to Hyperspace.
