Harvest Day (Tapani sector)

Harvest Day was a holiday in the Tapani sector. The celebration was brought to the sector by the original settlers, but the reason for its observance were lost by the time of the Galactic Civil War. It was believed that the original purpose for the holiday was to commemorate the harvest of crops, but no one knew for certain. Most observers welcomed it as a chance to take a day off from work.
