The HY-6 heavy cannon was a design from BlasTech Industries for the Galactic Empire.

Engineer Diran Miciluz from Hydrospeare Corporation improved the range and accuracy of the HY-6 before 2 ABY. It was then increasingly used by the Empire in aquatic applications.
