Gunnery
Gunnery was a division of the Support Service Branch of the Imperial Navy. It was responsible for supplying the Imperial Navy with personnel to use the armaments.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Gunnery division was introduced in 1994's second edition of the Imperial Sourcebook. Originally, the first edition of the sourcebook, released in 1989, assigned use of the Navy's weapons to the Ordnance division. The second edition however, reassigned that function to a newly-created division, Gunnery, with Ordnance now being responsible for supply and maintenance of the weapons.
