Grub toads were a creature that the Tulgah witch Morag threatened to turn her beast into if it did not chase after the Ewoks Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka and Wicket Warrick[1] in 3 ABY.[2]

Grub toads were mentioned in the twelfth issue of the Ewoks comic series, which was written by David Manak[1] and published by Marvel Comics on December 2, 1986.[3]
