Gravitic sensor

A gravitic sensor was a type of sensor linked to a starship's hyperdrive. Gravitic sensors scanned for mass shadows while in hyperspace, and if one was detected close to the vessel, it could cut out the hyperdrive to stop the ship from colliding with the object.[1]
