Giamel
Giamel was a commentator on Gundark's Gear Datalog during the early years of the New Republic. Giamel commented on the entry for the SnapShoot DT3, relating a story about a group of youths on Nar Shaddaa who uncovered a cache of the ancient weapons. They began challenging anyone they came across to quick-draw duels where the weapons gave them an edge.[1]
Giamel also believed that the Flame Rifle was a fearsome weapon, mainly because the thought of being set on fire terrified them more than being shot by a blaster. Giamel commented on the entry for the DL-22 blaster pistol, noting that the DL-22 wasn't too different from the DL-18 Blaster Pistol, although the better focusing crystal allowed the DL-22to inflict more damage.[1]
