George Roussos was a comic book artist who worked on a few issues of the Marvel Star Wars series as well as issues in the Star Wars: Droids (1986) series as a colorist. Roussos' earliest work in comics was assisting Batman creator Bob Kane on the famous caped crusader's comic book in 1940. He worked for nearly every comic company through the decades, and inked some of Jack Kirby's early work at Marvel Comics in the 1960s under the pseudonym George Bell. Later he become a full time colorist at Marvel and would hold that position through the 1990s. He died as a result of a heart attack in 2000.
