Gemthrop City was located on a backwater planet. It was surrounded by a wall several meters high and armed with gun emplacements to keep the population safe from wild herds of Lecknag Beasts. During the Galactic Civil War, the Duros Jiuk'chtna hired a spacer to transport him to Gemthrop City.
