Gatherer

A Gatherer was an operative of the Bureau of Ships and Services tasked with tracking down individuals and their starships who sought to circumvent BoSS's data-collection efforts. They wore no uniform, and were from many different alien species. They were trained in computer skills and espionage, and some combat skills although they only used them in self-defense.
