Gary Gerani is credited as the contributing editor for the the 1996 Topps Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire trading cards set. He has also written and edited Topps' Star Wars trading card sets since the very first one in 1977, created the moniker Star Wars Galaxy, created, edited and named Star Wars Widevision (a longer than usual horizontal trading card), edited/wrote books based on Topps' Star Wars products, and contributed introductions and commentary for Abrams' various books about Topps' Star Wars card sets.
