Fneeb
Fneebs were a sentient species.[1] In 0 BBY,[2] a number of Fneeb bounty hunters were present on the planet Tatooine within Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina in the Mos Eisley spaceport. The Rodian bounty hunter Greedo noticed the Fneebs among the other patrons while he drank Pica Thundercloud with fellow hunters Dyyz Nataz and Spurch Goa.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Fneeb were created by Tom and Martha Veitch for the short story "A Hunter's Fate: Greedo's Tale," published in 1995 as part of the anthology Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina.[1] The story was later illustrated as the webstrip also titled A Hunter's Fate: Greedo's Tale, adapted by Pablo Hidalgo and published online for Hyperspace: The Official Star Wars Fan Club members. However, in the webstrip, no unidentified alien species that could be the Fneebs appear in the background of the cantina scenes.[3]
