Flare Base was an Alliance to Restore the Republic military base on the planet Korseg IV. It was located high in the mountains. The base was understaffed with only 200 personnel, half a dozen X-wings, and a medium transport. During the Galactic Civil War, the base came under attack from Imperial forces and had to be evacuated.[1]

Behind the scenes

Flare Base was mentioned in West End Games'Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, Second Edition, released in 1992.[2]
