External control coupling

External control couplings connected the computer interface of a starship to the operating systems of a larger automated hulk, when the smaller ship was fitted inside the larger drone barge shell. In 2 BBY, the Millennium Falcon was fitted with external control couplings when it was secreted inside the robo-barge on its mission to Orron III.
