An epidermal flush was a medial procedure carried out after a significant skin graft. It ensured that the new skin would not be rejected by the host. In 2 ABY Captain-Supervisor Grammel of Mimban received an epidermal flush as the final stage of reconstructive surgery after sustaining significant injuries during a prison break.
