An enzymer was a used to identify biological remnants and to produce a counter-agent to known bacteria and viruses. Callista Ming acquired a BioTech Industries Mark 16 Enzymer from the Bith known as Numbers while on Gamorr and used it to discover that a kheilwar had killed a local Gamorrean.
