Engineering officer

Engineering officer was an individual responsible for engineering duties aboard a starship. According to a fake story formulated by the Alliance to Restore the Republic in order to infiltrate Ruusan, Lieutenant Hortu Agar was the engineering officer aboard the transport High Hauler.

This specialist rank was the lowest officer rank used by the Imperial Engineering Division and ranked below Engineering Lieutenant. The rank was the equivalent of Imperial Navy Ensign, Imperial Army Officer, and Starfighter Corps Flight Officer.
