The Energy Directional Scrambler was a vital part of the cloaking device built as part of the NOVA project. It was made by Santhe/Sienar Technologies on the planet Lianna. It was destroyed or disabled by a group of Rebels along with all the other components of the device.[1] Later, Santhe/Sienar recreated the Scrambler and had a breakthrough in one of its major subsystems, the polarity-charged flux refractor.[2]
