Empeth Crystal
Empeth Crystals were a type of Force-enhancing crystals that grew in the Crystal Valley, a region on the planet Lazerian IV. The Empeth Crystals grew once every ten years. They were cube-shaped, and when picked were nearly indestructible. When worn by a Force-sensitive, the crystals could located the Force in other sentient beings. Once picked, the crystals lived for five years before becoming simple rock. In the early years of the New Republic, the crystals were protected by King Alarik X, the ruler of the planet, who has assigned a part of the King's Own Guard to watch over them.
