A droid builder was an individual who designed and assembled droids. Such individuals, depending on their degree of skills, could hold the tile of Apprentice, Designer, or Master Droid Builder. At the time of the Galactic Civil War, the Jawa Wimateeka of the Nkik clan was a renowned droid builder. He taught his skills to a Rebel agent, who earned a Jawa droid builder certificate.
