Laser scalpel

A laser scalpel was a laser-based surgical tool, and could be used to make highly accurate incisions. At Rimsoo units, laser scalpels were used for a variety of surgeries.

Behind the scenes

It is not clear whether or not the fine-point laser cutter was identical to the laser scalpel, or represented a distinctly different piece of equipment.
